Pests and Countermeasures

We soon erected a perimeter fence of chicken wire to avoid tempting the local rabbits; some stepped over, others made attractive gates. A fearsome scarecrow watched over it all. The biggest pests were squash bugs, three-lined potato beetles, and blight. Cabbage loopers and tomato hornworms were easy.
