Reassembling and remounting

     

  1. Press the bottom piece back into place.
  2. Slide the top bushing back over the stem and onto the top of the body.
  3. Remove the thread and slip the retaining ring back onto the top of the stem.
  4. Replace the cover on the knob.
  5. Replace the two screws in the bottom piece.
  6. Back at the gate, slide the latch assembly down over the guides from the top.
  7. Secure it with the screw under the catch.
